A Celebration of the Bath House’s Renovation Completion

Ah!  What’s not a better way to celebrate the finale of renovations at the Bath House with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony?  Music on the veranda was performed by the awesome Herbie Johnson Quartet that coaxed everyone into a jubilant state of mind on this fine spring day.

Lee Oakley, President, and Teresa Bond, Treasurer, of the Friends, kicked off the event with a few words expressing their delight in the results of the work and then passed the mike to Paula Blackmon, District 9 Council Member, and the OAC (Office of Arts & Culture) Director, Jennifer Scripps, for their thoughtful words.

Others who joined the ceremony included:

District 9 Parks and Recreation Board Member, Maria Hasbany
District 9 Cultural Affairs Committee Member, Mickie Braglione
OAC Assistant Director, David Fisher
BHCC Staff, Enrique enrique Fernandez Cervantes and Stewart Mikkelsen
Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
Bath House Pollinator Garden, Master Gardners
Board Members of the Friends of the Bath House
Jaime Dunaway from the Advocate and Nancy Black from White Rock Weekly.
