We appreciate our members!” That’s the message the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Bath House Cultural Center sent to its membership. In appreciation for the support of “Friends” and members, the board of the 2.5 year-old nonprofit hosted a “Member Appreciation Sunset, Sundowners, & Sneak Peek” on Friday, May 18, 6:00 -8:00 PM at the Bath House Cultural Center.

The event  included a wine and hors d’oeuvres buffet with live music from Lee Fortune and Robert Shaw. Members  also got a peek behind the scenes to see how their support has enriched the Bath House Cultural Center facility and programming. Bath House Cultural Center Manager Curator/Visual Arts Coordinator, Enrique Fernández Cervantes gave a gallery talk about the exhibitions: “NaRRativa” and the binational “El Latido Incesante (The Endless Heartbeat).” Manager Marty Van Kleeck described summer events at the Center, and Theresa Furphy, Performing Arts Coordinator/Technical Director, demonstrated the new theater lighting system, purchased from funds raised by the Friends of the Bath House Cultural Center.
