Curated by Bart Weiss of Dallas Video Fest renown, the documentary premiered on March 2 at the Angelica Theatre in Mockingbird Station. Throughout the movie there were waves of applauses, tears dabbed by tissues, peppered with many aaawwws and gasps.
The Q&A, led by Cheryl Allison and Bart Weiss, provided environmental and wildlife enlightenment with guest contributors: the intrepid Kathy Rogers, founder of Rogers Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and her Pied Piper Duckmaster, Rusty Grasone, and Mary Beth Purdy, a wildlife activist and goose advisor on Cheryl’s “goose advice” speed dial.
