Petite Party Coming 9/29!

The Friends of the Bath House are conjuring up another fun evening!

In collaboration with the upcoming Dias de los Muertes (Day of the Dead) gallery show (this is one of two blockbusters the Bath House has each year), we are inviting you, our friends, to join in to decorate a 60 foot banner!  We will have examples of artwork for go-bys and an available artist or so to help draw if you’re not comfortable with freehanding.

All supplies provided and the party is free to all.  And naturally, it wouldn’t be a Petite Party without libations and light hors d’oeuvres!

This time we are requesting an RSVP:  communications@friendsofthebathhouse.org.  Please title the subject ” Petite Party: Banner.”

About the Petite Parties

The Petite Parties were invented to offer fun, artistic, and stress-free socials for the local community in keeping with the Friends of the Bath House Cultural Center’s mission of enriching the visitor experience.

With the Bath House Cultural Center’s tightly booked schedule, the Friends and the Bath House and staff of the Bath House slip these events into rare, open evenings.  Originally conceived as pop-up events, the parties have evolved into quarterly must-do’s that enjoy a loyal following.  Each evening opens with an unique concept.  The organization has sponsored coloring pages, holiday ornament making and painting banners to complement gallery shows and have library index card designs and artsy trivial pursuit on its line-up.

Because the parties are free and all supplies are provided, art lovers of all persuasions are able to join us.  The parties include complimentary wine and light hors d’oeuvres.
